When Darren was 21, he appeared on Bullseye with a friend. They came last and went home with £141, a tankard, a Bendy Bully and a set of darts.
On the job
Darren qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1993. Over the years, he has held senior roles across a variety of industries, including TV news, clinical research, IT, manufacturing, broadcast supplies, and financial services.
Today, Darren oversees the financial management of the business, handling everything from forecasting and budgeting to working closely with stakeholders and external partners.
Life beyond work
Darren has been happily married to Sarah-Jane since 1990, and they have three daughters. Outside of work, Darren enjoys staying active with squash or racketball three times a week and spending time outdoors walking Barney, the family’s Cocker Spaniel. He and Sarah-Jane also love beach walks and making the most of time together over meals out whenever they can.
