Our History
Discover the story behind Broom Consultants
Explore the key moments, people and places that have played a part in our history since 1992.
John Broom established Broom Consultants, operating from the first premises in Goresbrook Road on the A13 with three members of staff.
The team headed to South Hornchurch for larger premises as the team size had increased to 18 members.
We were incorporated at Companies House as Broom Consultants Ltd.
We relocated to a country location at Blue House Farm, West Horndon, and acquired other independent financial advice practices.
We made the decision to go directly FSA (now FCA) regulated.
We moved to our current home in Brentwood by the train station for the convenience of a larger team.
We love to reward the team for their hard work. In 2018, we celebrated hitting a growth milestone with a weekend cruise.
To accommodate our growing team, we expanded by purchasing an additional property just a few doors down from our office.
Turning 30 was a big milestone for us, so we marked the occasion with a magical team trip to Disneyland Paris.
The Broom Consultants Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) was established.
