Hi, my name is Christine Nichols. I’ve been a client of Broom Consultants for more than 10 years, and my personal adviser is a gentleman by the name of Jeff Watson.

As our business grew, we recognised the need to have investments, so we went to our accountant, who recommended Broom Consultants.

Before we decided to work with Broom, we decided that we would have a couple of IFAs come in and talk with us to see who we felt comfortable with. Jeff came in with his wife, Karen, and they were a fabulous, dynamic team. I automatically felt that I trusted them and that they knew what they were doing. They fit the type of IFA that I was looking for.

Since I’ve been working with Jeff and the team, they’ve helped me put my money in the right places. They’ve made me feel secure. One of the things that you don’t want to do as a family, or as a business, is have investments anywhere that you’re not sure what to do with and these guys know what they’re doing. In fact, they’ve done a great job for us, and I’m very happy with what they’re doing. I would not want to go forward without an IFA, and I love Broom and what they do.

I feel far more confident about what we’re doing with our investments. I certainly would not want to do that on my own.

If I had to use three words to describe Jeff, he’s very knowledgeable in what he does, so I’d say, knowledgeable, confident, and trustworthy.

They’re not just my IFAs; we’ve become friends. They’re that type of group that embraces you and makes you feel part of the family and the inner circle. That’s made it a really pleasurable working relationship.

The best piece of advice that Jeff’s given me is about opening up a SaaS. I never knew anything about a SaaS, and it’s something that’s a little bit quirky that you’d only get to do if you knew what to do, and Jeff knew how to do it. So, the best piece of advice he’s given me is to open up a SaaS.

I’d definitely recommend Broom because the consultants there know what they’re talking about, which obviously you need to make sure that you feel comfortable with them, but it’s not just that; they don’t treat you like a customer, they treat you like a friend, they pull you in and they make you feel special. We all want to feel special, especially when you’re making financial investments.
