  • LP2 (Financial Services Products and Solutions)

    This develops the knowledge and understanding of customer needs, how financial services professionals and organisations identify and provide for these needs, including an understanding of key retail financial products such as savings, investments and tax wrappers.

  • CF6 (Mortgage Advice)

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the UK regulation environment in the financial services industry, mortgage products, repayment options and the giving of mortgage advice.

  • R01 (Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics)

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, including regulation, legislation and the Code of Ethics

  • R02 (Investment Principles)

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of investment products and the application of the investment advice process.

  • R03 (Personal Taxation)

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the UK taxation system, and the ability to analyse the taxation treatment of individuals and trusts during the investment advice process.

  • R04 (Pensions and Retirement Planning)

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of and ability to analyse pension and retirement planning issues.

  • R05 (Financial Protection)

    This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of and ability to analyse financial protection planning issues.

Jack has a degree in neuroscience.

On the job

Jack entered the financial services profession in 2021 as compliance and IT support for a Chartered firm. In 2025, he joined Broom as a Paraplanner.

Jack’s role involves preparing financial planning and suitability reports, conducting technical research, assisting advisers with client queries, analysing client portfolios, and making recommendations in line with their financial goals and objectives.

Life beyond work

Outside of work, Jack likes to sleep! However, when he’s not sleeping, he enjoys playing the piano, spending time with friends and family, walking his dogs and going to the gym.
