In his teens, Stephen won the Princess Diana Courageous Citizen Award.
On the job
Stephen has worked in financial services since 2016, starting his career in compliance before moving into advising in 2017. Since then, he has built broad experience across mortgages and insurance in a range of roles, including working as a directly authorised adviser, running his own appointed representative firm within a large national network, and taking on head of compliance responsibilities.
He has now joined Broom Consultants’ advising team. His background gives him a strong understanding of both the technical and practical sides of financial advice, helping him support clients with clear, considered guidance.
Life beyond work
Outside work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, Maisy, as well as their much-loved dog, a Westie-Scottie cross who definitely likes to be in charge. Family time is important to him, whether that means heading out for dog walks or making the most of good weather with a barbecue.
He is also a big fan of football, Formula 1, and fishing, and, for his sins, is a lifelong Spurs supporter.
